Corinne S Ertel, MD
Dr. Ertel received her B.S. from Cornell University and her M.A.T. from Harvard University. She began her professional career as a biology teacher prior to receiving her M.D. from The University of Michigan Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and her adolescent fellowship at The Children's Hospital in Boston. Dr. Ertel is a Clinical Instructor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and has continued her interest in teaching by precepting medical students and residents throughout her career, in addition to patients and parents. She is board certified in pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She joined Weston Pediatric Physicians in 1983. She has a particular expertise in adolescent health care. |

Shelly C. Bernstein, MD
Dr. Bernstein received his A.B. and Ph.D. in genetics from The University of Chicago and his M.D. from Pritzker School of Medicine of The University of Chicago prior to completing his pediatric residency at The Children's Hospital in Boston. He then completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at Children's Hospital and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. He had a significant research career prior to joining Weston Pediatrics in 1990. Dr. Bernstein is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and has ongoing teaching responsibilities of medical students and residents. He is board certified in pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bernstein has a special interest in hematology and oncology and in addition to his patients at Weston Pediatrics, he also cares for children at The Jimmy Fund at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. |

Joshua Gundersheimer, MD
After receiving his B.A. from Amherst College and his M.D. from Harvard University, Dr. Gundersheimer completed his pediatric training at The Children's Hospital, Boston MA. He then practiced in Hopkinton, MA before joining Weston Pediatrics in 2001. He has been involved in numerous hospital committees and has been actively involved in teaching medical students throughout his career. He is board certified in pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. |

Robert H. Andler, MD, FAAP
Dr. Robert Andler joined Weston Pediatrics in September, 2010. Dr. Andler, a Framingham native, comes to us after practicing in Rhode Island for the past five years. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his Pediatric Internship and Residency at Hasbro Children's Hospital and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Andler is board certified in Pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Andler will be caring for patients of all ages. |

Colleen Brownell-Krupat, MD
Dr. Colleen Brownell-Krupat joined Weston Pediatrics as a primary care doctor in March, 2011. She received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and her M.D. from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Brownell-Krupat completed her pediatric residency at The University of California at Davis, in Sacramento and is board certified in Pediatrics.
Prior to joining Weston Pediatrics, Dr. Brownell-Krupat worked at Children’s Hospital, both in the emergency department doing urgent care, and as a hospitalist. |

Katherine M. Bui, MD
Dr. Bui joined Weston Pediatrics in July, 2011 after completing her residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. At MGH she pursued particular interests in infant development and medical education. Dr. Bui received her undergraduate degree from Scripps College, in Claremont, Ca., and her M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Bui is Board Certified in Pediatrics, a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bui will be caring for patients of all ages. |

Rosemarie Dieffenbach, MD, MPH
Dr. Rose Dieffenbach joined Weston Pediatrics in July, 2011. She is board certified in general pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Dieffenbach completed her undergraduate degree at UCLA, went on to obtain a Masters in Public Health from the University of Michigan and received her MD from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She completed her pediatric residency training at University of California, San Francisco, then served in the U.S. Navy as a primary care pediatrician, stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Naples, Italy, and Bremerton, Washington. Before joining Weston Pediatrics, she cared for a variety of patients presenting to the Emergency Department at Children's Hospital Boston. Dr. Dieffenbach enjoys caring for patients of all ages.

Karen McCarte, CPNP
After graduating from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree, Ms. McCarte pursued a Master of Science degree in Maternal and Child Health from Boston University. She received her Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Massachusetts General Hospital before joining Weston Pediatrics in 1980. She is a lactation consultant and has special interests in behavioral pediatrics, parenting skills, and infant care.

Karen Ashworth, FNP, AE-C
Karen joined Weston Pediatrics as a Nurse Practitioner in March, 2011. She received her Masters of Science degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Regis College in 2002. She has a bachelors degree in Psychology. She is also a Certified Asthma Nurse Educator. She has experience in family medicine, urgent care, and for the past five years, she has worked as a nurse practitioner in pediatrics. Her areas of interest include working with at-risk teens and young adults, adolescent-GYN, and asthma education.
